The Saturday morning English classes that are offered on Saturdays to children in Nuevo Paraiso Children’s Village continue to be a success, thanks to the high-quality instruction provided by ESL teacher Luis Aguilar. Luis teaches four different classes with a total of 80 students. This educational opportunity, which is made possible by the donations provided by Friends of Honduran Children supporters, is making a difference in the lives of these children. Developing a base knowledge and fluency in English will open doors to future educational and employment opportunities for them. In order to strengthen the listening comprehension component of his program, Luis would like to acquire 10 sets of headphones.
